Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery, Chamberlain Square
BBC WM and Birmingham Museum and Art Gallery invite you to an afternoon celebrating the History of the World.
On 7 March the museum will be opening its doors between 12 noon and 5pm to showcase some of the Birmingham objects highlighted by the HOTW project.
Curators will be on hand to bring their stories to life - and there will be an opportunity for you to add your objects to the website.
BBC WM's Carl Chinn will be live on 95.6FM from the museum from noon - 1pm.
You'll be able to find out more about the spectacular Sultanganj Buddha, the intricate Luckold Shield of Buttons, the Iron Age Glascote Torc - and all the other objects on display - and find out about their connection to the city and it's people.
We'll have experts from the museum to answer your questions, other BBC WM presenters will be dropping in during the afternoon and an online journalist will be on hand to talk about what's on our website.
