Colin Dunne at International Dance Festival Birmingham

Nine times world Irish Step Dance Champion, Colin Dunne, returned to Birmingham for the International Dance Festival.

Birmingham-born Colin talked to BBC WM's Joanne Malin about his solo performance Out of Time.

Colin is in Birmingham for a two day performance which integrates movement, text, film and sound design with step dance.

His performances take place at the Patrick Centre on 11-12 May 2010.

Colin who was the principal dancer in Riverdance (1995-1998) talked about his career, travelling the world, and settling in Ireland, where he has lived for the past 8 years.
