 Description
"The constituency of Angus lies on Scotland's east coast, stretching from Montrose in the north to the Firth of Tay in the south, where it virtually surrounds the city of Dundee. Agriculture is unsurprisingly one of the major industries in Angus, as is tourism thanks to its seaside resorts and attractions like the championship golf at Carnoustie, but engineering, fishing, food processing, textiles and pharmaceutical industries are also found in the seat. The inhabitants are conservative by nature but for the time being it is the SNP that is most likely to win the battle for what is one of the more tranquil parts of Scotland.
