Located at the extreme north of the new mayor's realm, this seat runs into the Hertfordshire countryside and has many solid middle class areas around Enfield, Highgate and Crouch End.
But other parts of the constituency such as Tottenham mirror the problems of deprivation found in many of the capital’s rundown inner city areas.
Once the mayoral election is over, voters in Tottenham will be facing yet another election to fill the seat left vacant by the death of the local Labour MP Bernie Grant.
Parliamentary seats here include: Edmonton (Lab), Enfield North (Lab), Enfield Southgate (Lab), Hornsey and Wood Green (Lab) and Tottenham (Lab).
