Currently undergoing renovations to the tune of £63m, the work has proved controversial. So much so that a fraud squad was recently called in to investigate alleged financial irregularities.
The first phase of the stadium's redevelopment project was completed in 1994 and refurbished the North and East Stands.
Phase two saw the West Stand improved and the South Stand completely rebuilt with a grant from the Millennium Commission.
