Headingley

City: Leeds
Built: 1888
Club: Yorkshire

Headingley is the home of Yorkshire County Cricket club and forms part of a larger sporting complex which also houses Leeds Rhinos.

If Australia and Pakistan, who play the first World Cup match at Headingley on May 23, have done their research they will know the wicket is variable, and generally believed to aid seam bowling, particularly when green.

One of the most memorable innings which Headingley has seen was when former Yorkshire favourite Geoff Boycott hit his hundredth hundred against Australia in 1977.
