Saigon: 30 Apr 1975
American marines made their final frantic evacuation from Saigon in April 1975. More than 20 years after their first involvement in the region, the American people and their government had finally had enough of Vietnam. Brian Barron and his cameraman Eric Thirer were in Saigon to see it fall for the BBC and remember the North Vietnamese army tanks entering the city.
