The Queen Mother's procession on Friday to the lying in state at Westminster Hall involved 1,700 members of the armed services. It included members of the Royal Family, members of the Queen Mother's own Bowes Lyon family and her staff. At its centre was a gun carriage carrying the coffin. The procession was as follows:
