1125 - 1130 BST
The bearer party of Irish Guards carried the coffin to the gun carriage. The 10 pall bearers, drawn from military units associated with the Queen Mother, took up their positions on either side. Members of the Royal Family, led by the Duke of Edinburgh and the Queen Mother's grandchildren, assembled and were joined by other relatives of the Queen Mother and male members of her household.
Behind them were representative detachments of the Queen Mother's regiments.
As the procession began at 11.30am, Major Simon Hall of the King's Troop Royal Horse Artillery ordered the firing of guns in Green Park, one for every minute of the journey to Westminster Hall.
