Zimbabwe The Zimbabwean military has sent troops to Kinshasa to support President Kabila in his fight against the rebels, a move which came as a surprise to many analysts. Zimbabwe does not share a border with the Democratic Republic of Congo. Officials have said they are concerned about restoring law and order in Congo. Analysts say Zimbabwe is thought to have potentially lucrative business interests which it wishes to protect. Zimbabwe has also sold military equipment to President Kabila. |
