Sudan Rebels inside Congo say Sudan sent about 2,000 troops to protect President Kabila’s eastern military headquarters in Kindu. The Sudanese government has denied it has any troops there. But Sudan does not want to see President Kabila overthrown by rebels supported by Rwanda and Uganda, in part because of Rwandan and Ugandan ties with the United States. |
