The population of Albania proper is naturally concerned about the fate of its ethnic brothers across the border. Weapons freely available in Albania since last year's uprising are thought to have been smuggled into Kosovo recently. The current Albanian government, hamstrung by economic difficulties at home, does not at this stage appear interested in promoting the idea of a Greater Albania. |
