This area of the IEA site focuses on the summit and they key, energy-related issues.

United Nations Development Programme
Site with lots of background on sustainable energy. The publications section includes UNDP reports (which can be downloaded) that date back to 1995.

EU - Energy, Environment and sustainable development
EU site with information ranging from the socio-economic aspects of energy to cleaner energy systems.

World Energy Council
Provides lots of energy information. The section on sustainable development contains some of the council's publications (available online), and links.
