Reported Strikes
US raids hit frontline positions near Kabul on Tuesday as hundreds of elite Northern Alliance troops begin deploying to the north of the city. The Pentagon says ammunition supplies have been air-dropped to Northern Alliance troops.

Overnight strikes also targeted an area of caves and tunnels in eastern Afghanistan known as a hideout of Osama Bin Laden. The overnight strikes killed two people in the east, according to the Pakistan-based Afghan Islamic Press (AIP), and four civilians in Kandahar.
