The Afghan capital Kabul was quiet overnight on Sunday, with no reports of air strikes on the capital.
Other cities were hit on the 28 on and 29 October, but reports have described Sunday night as one of the quietest since the American bombardment of Afghanistan began on 7 October.
The US has warned Afghans against confusing unexploded cluster bombs with food aid packages - both of which are yellow. Radio broadcasts by the Americans in local Persian and Pashto languages say that from now on, cluster bombs and food packages will not be dropped in the same area.
