![]() US planes struck Taleban forces in Balkh and Samangan provinces near Kabul a day and strikes continued overnight on Taleban positions in the Rabat district, and near Bagram airbase north of the city. There were reports of attacks on He rat, and Kandahar. Taleban forces at Keshendeh and Darra-e-Sof, south of the key city of Mazar-e-Sharif, were reportedly hit. A Taleban official said anti-personnel and armour-piercing cluster bombs, designed to scatter over a wide area, were used in some raids. |
