Day 31 of attacks on the Taleban. US bombers target Taleban front lines north of Kabul, near to Bagram air base. There are reports that after five hours of fighting the Northern Alliance have retaken a Taleban held district, north of the capital.There are also reports that Northern Alliance forces have recaptured an area south of Mazar-e-sharif helped by US air raids on Taleban artillery and tank positions. The northern provinces of Samangan and Balkh, located at strategic positions outside of Mazar-e-Sharif, were also targeted along with Taleban positions near Taloqan.
