Indonesia
Indonesia is the world's most populous Muslim country, and while President Megawati Sukarnoputri initially expressed support for the US campaign against terror, its government fears a backlash.

There has been a wave of anti-US protests in Indonesia and Megawati has said that no government has the right to attack another country or seek to cleanse blood with blood.

Jakarta said it would recognise the Northern Alliance as the legitimate rulers of Afghanistan if the United Nations did so first.
