1. Cockpit
In the cockpit there is a pilot, co-pilot and flight engineer. The navigator sits just outside the cockpit at the front of the plane.

Pictures released by China after the crash show the plane’s nose cone is missing. There is also damage to its leftmost propeller and the underside of its left wing.
