Ghazi Refugee Village in Pakistan. The exodus of more than six million Afghans started in 1979 following the Soviet invasion. Most fled to Iran and Pakistan. More than 20 years later Afghans remain one of the biggest refugee groups in the world, second only to the Palestinians.
