Innocent Bifuko-Karubamba |
 |
 |
Innocent Bifuko-Karubamba, 16, told me he had not held a pen for three years since he had been displaced, with his mother and younger brother, by the fighting in his native region of Masisi, DR Congo. His father had died of malaria. I met Innocent in a nutrition centre near Goma, where he was recovering his health.
