BBC - Your NHS  pick of the day
your NHS: vote now
The aim of the BBC's Your NHS day on 20 February was to give an impartial snapshot of the nation's health facitlies. During a day of special programmes, we linked live to hospitals throughout the UK. The vote for the NHS issue you think matters most has now closed. Nicky Campbell put the results to the Prime Minister during an interview which you can watch by clicking on Tony Blair's picture (top right).

NHS People - Join them for the day
Come with us behind the scenes to see a day in the life of the people who make the NHS work - and those whose lives they save. Get airborne with a paramedic air ambulance crew. See a top surgeon at work in a busy general hospital. Join a community nurse caring for her sick patients. Go out with a GP on his rounds. And follow a patient whose long wait for an operation is now over.
