Pakistani

The Pakistani community in Britain is much more evenly spread than many other ethnic communities.

Figures from 2000 put 23% of ethnic Pakistanis in London, a figure almost equaled by West Yorkshire with 21% and the West Midlands with 20%.

When compared with the Indian and Bangladeshi communities, those defining themselves as Pakistani have a greater geographical spread, with some communities in the north east of England, Scotland and Wales.
