The Queen's tour

Wales
The Queen visited Wales over three days from 11 June. The tour began with the Queen's party arriving in north Wales on the 74-year-old Duchess of Sutherland steam train. A key theme for the visit was tourism. The tour continued south and ended with an address to the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff.
