The Queen's tour

Scotland
The Queen arrived in Scotland on 23 May for a week-long tour.
The Queen thanked the nation for its support following the deaths of Princess Margaret and the Queen Mother.
The tour included the Borders, Glasgow, Edinburgh, the Western Isles, Dundee, Aberdeen and Melrose.
The final two days of the tour were spent back in Scotland as the Queen visited the Edinburgh military tattoo before going on to host a garden party finale at Balmoral Castle.
