The so-called "Egyptian room" is one of the grandest lodge rooms in Freemasons' Hall.

The lighting of the room is supposed to echo the movements of the sun - with yellow sunrise in the east, bright noon in the centre and a pink sunset to the west.

Although the actual ceremonies which take place inside the Egyptian room remain a closely guarded secret, Freemansons admit that organ music plays a role.
