| The Millennium Dome has the largest roof in the world. Covering an area twice as large as Wembley Stadium, it could contain 18,000 double-decker buses or the Eiffel Tower laid on its side. We filmed the Dome before visitors arrived for the day. Dome chief executive PY Gerbeau describes the Dome as a modern architectural marvel. But in a BBC interview in May 2000, the building’s designer, Lord Rodgers, describes the content as "lacking vision". |
