ACTIVITIES Throughout the the summer and autumn of 2001, Panorama has been given access to a range of BNP activities and events which reflect the new image of the Party and the new strategy of "community politics". The programme filmed the annual "Red, White and Blue" weekend in August, the Young BNP "Camp Excalibur" and the launch of their website. The team investigated the work of FAIR (Families against Immigrant Racism) and the Ethnic Liaison Committee.
Panorama observed branch work being undertaken in Stafford, where a BNP activist was working with local homeless men, and attended a branch meeting in Dewsbury.
The BNP did not give access to its "Annual College". Around 100 party organisers discussed BNP strategy and tactics for the 2002 local elections. |
