Balkan War Journal
Photographer Ron Haviv chronicled the long, painful break-up of Yugoslavia throughout the 1990s. He was in Slovenia when it broke away from Belgrade, witnessed the wars in Croatia and Bosnia and the conflict in Kosovo. Here BBC News Online provides a selection of his most memorable photographs, to mark the publication of a new book and exhibition of his collected work.
