Glastonbury returned - and was hailed as a mighty success.

A team from Mean Fiddler - which runs Reading, Homelands and the Fleadh - was brought in by festival founder Michael Eavis to help him increase security and make Glastonbury a safer place for the 100,000 people who bought tickets.

Rod Stewart, Coldplay and Stereophonics were among the headliners - but all vied for attention with the 1million "super-fence" around the site.

Over 750,000 was raised at Glastonbury for causes including Oxfam, WaterAid and Greenpeace.
