Old Speke Airfield, Liverpool
Scouse superclub Cream became Liverpool's greatest musical export since the Beatles during the 1990s, with its organisers styling it as the connoisseur's choice for a clubbing night out. This year they hope to build on that reputation with seven stages at their annual festival, playing host to the likes of Groove Armada, Moloko, All Saints and Death In Vegas, with a whole stage being built around headliners Basement Jaxx.
