NTT DoCoMo, a subsidiary of Japan's main telephone company, is the world's biggest mobile operator by market value. It now wants to export its highly successful i-Mode wireless internet service to other markets, buying stakes in the Dutch operator KPN and AT&T's wireless operations - but some say it has overpaid for its stakes.
