The Swiss government raised just $120m (80m) from its auction, a fraction of what it had originally hoped for. With just four bidders for the four licences, the auction was over shortly after it had begun. The winners were Swisscom, Tele Danmark's dSpeed, France Telecom and Team 3G, a subsidiary of Spain's Telefonica.
