Trevor Brooking

Trevor Brooking ranks high among the legends of English football. He played for West Ham, staying loyal to the club for nearly 10 years, and achieved 47 full England caps.

One of his high spots was during the World Cup qualifying match with Hungary, when his two match-winning goals proved vital in taking England to the finals in 1982.

He retired in 1984 to pursue the various business interests that he had built up outside the game. But he has maintained a strong interest in football, and often appears as a radio and television commentator.
