Annie Lennox

The Eurythmics singer's name crops up frequently in the history of the Brit Awards. She has won best female artist six times, and her Diva album was a winner in 1996.

With her Eurythmics partner Dave Stewart, she has won 1999's outstanding contribution prize. The duo reunited last year at a party in honour of a record company executive - performing together for the first time in six years.
