Aspects Of Love is a tale of love, temptation and betrayal revolving around the relationship between an English aristocrat, his French wife and Italian mistress.

Based on a 1955 novel by David Garnett, the two-act musical featured lyrics by Don Black and Charles Hart.

Originally opening in April 1989, it enoyed a three-year run in London, before going on a UK tour. Other productions were later staged in Japan, Hungary and Finland.

Michael Ball, who played the original lead role, had number one hit in 1989 with one of the musical's most famous songs, Love Changes Everything.

Phantom movie too

In another move, Lloyd Webber has appointed Michael Kuhn - former studio head of Polygram Filmed Entertainment - as senior adviser to his Really Useful Group company, overseeing the project and a forthcoming Phantom Of The Opera film.

Lloyd Webber said: "With Michael Kuhn at the helm of the film division in both Britain and Hollywood I am confident that a whole range of film and television projects will be in development in the near future."

Kuhn added: "I am confident that together we can break some exciting new ground in the field of film musicals.

"My first priorities will be The Phantom Of The Opera, Aspects Of Love and an animated film of Joseph And The Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat."

No casting has been announced for Aspects Of Love, but some big names have already been linked to Phantom.

Antonio Banderas is favourite to take the title role and Shekhar Kapur - who scripted Elizabeth - is in talks to work on the film.

Kapur's wife Suchitra Krishnamoorthi recently recorded a Lloyd Webber song, Take My Life, in India.
