Hello and welcome to BBC Xtra English!

The Stonehaven Folk Festival is an event that has taken place every year for the past 21 years.

It celebrates different kinds of folk music and many people, young and old take part.

It also hosts the annual World Paper and Comb Competition which is an unusual musical competition!

Paper and comb music is played by folding a piece of paper over the spine of a comb.

You then place your lips on the paper and hum the song you want to play.

The sound comes from the vibrations of the paper and the teeth of the comb!
