Hello and welcome to BBC Xtra English!
Today Amber and Reda talk about the 200th anniversary of Louis Braille.
Louis Braille was the man who invented Braille, a language for blind and partially-sighted people.
It is made up of raised dots on paper, which people read by touching them with their fingertips.
Braille has helped blind people of all ages and all around the world too.
In fact, geographically it is the most widely spoken language in the world!
Many blind people have found the language to be liberating; it means they do not have to depend as much on other people and are able to do so many more things alone.
Louis Braille invented a life-transforming language which helped integrate blind and partially-sighted people into many aspects of life.
