Today Tim and Liliane talk about how holding a warm drink can change the way you feel.

A journal called Science recently published an article that said people with warm hands tend to be more trusting.

The author of the article had asked a number of volunteers to hold either a hot or a cold drink in their hands.

The volunteers holding hot drinks were more trusting of other people.

Those who held a cold drink were less trusting and more sceptical of others.

The volunteers were then asked to rate people's personalities.

The author found that the volunteers with cold hands had cold feelings about the people they were rating.

The volunteers with warm hands had warm feelings about the personality they were rating

I feel someone pours to me a hot drink is not more friendly than who pours a cold drink due to our weather which is more hot.

Well, this is first time I heard about but, this is good research even now. Anyway I am never feel different between cold drink when someone gives it to me or hot drink . but, i will try from now on to find out if this right or not.

Actually, it will depend on the timing of pouring the drink. I would thank him if he give me a cold drink in summer for example. I don't think pouring cold/hot drinks will affect my feelings toward people who are pouring these drinks

I think that a good someone who pours a hot drink in a cold weather this is a friendly person. And the opposite is true.
