Today Somaya and Doug are talking about the credit crunch and gold.

The price of gold is so high that a UK jewellery shop has suggested that people who need money should sell their gold false teeth.

High prices are being paid for watches, chains and rings.

In some Middle East countries people often sell their gold jewellery. And in the UK you can get money for your jewellery when you take it to a pawnbroker. They will lend you money, but if you don't pay it back on time they will sell your jewellery!

In these days of the credit crunch everyone is trying to save money. And everyone loves a bargain!
