Welcome to
BBC Xtra English.
Today Liliane and Anna talk about Shakespeare and
rap.
Listen to the programme to hear what it sounds like!
You will hear Ian McKellen, one of Britains best known actors, reciting one of William Shakespeare's most famous sonnets.
But the sonnet has been recorded with rappers.
It was recorded during the actor's visit to a recently opened recording studio at a youth centre in East London.
The centre has training programmes for unemployed people. They can get work experience and qualifications.
Shakespeare and rap? The reaction from the rappers there was very positive!
Perhaps the visit by this famous actor will inspire some of these young people to become actors or musicians.
Anna says that her French teacher inspired her to learn languages.
