.Welcome to BBC Xtra English
Today Rasha and Cath talk about practical jokes.
100 pupils were sent home from school recently after an end of term prank.
They turned one of the rooms in their school into a field by turfing it over. The school said it was "very disappointed" with their behaviour.
Someone also played a practical joke on a village, through the online encyclopedia Wikipedia.
The entry for Denshaw, a village in the north of England, was changed to include some strange things.
It said the village only had four hours of sunshine a day, that the sport of sheep hurling was very popular and that the villagers only had four toes on each foot.
Is it true? Or is the writer just pulling our leg?
Finally, two fireman recently played a practical joke on a new recruit. They pretended to be senior officers and gave him a spoof interview.
Their bosses didn't see the funny side and they were sacked, but then they got their jobs back.
Have you ever played a practical joke on someone? Or have you ever had a practical joke played on you? Write to us in English!
