Welcome to BBC Xtra English. Today Finn and Louay talk about the comic book superhero Spiderman and the United Nations.
One million school children in the United States are to receive a free comic book featuring the popular character Spiderman.
The storyline has Spiderman working alongside the United Nations in an effort to promote peace and to rid the world of disease.
The UN Partnership fund will distribute the comic books and Marvel Comics will provide the artwork for free.
Some people think that this is a good way of teaching school children about the work of the United Nations because Spiderman and the UN share the same vlaues.
Spiderman is an ordinary man who gets incredible powers and then realises that with great power comes great responsibility.
This is just like the United Nations says Brian Quinn, manager of a comic store in New York.
Not everybody agrees. Former US envoy to the United Nations, John Bolton, thinks this is an act of desperation.
Do you think this is a good way of promoting the work of the United Nations to school children?
هل تعتقد أن هذه وسيلة جيدة لزيادة الوعي بإعمال الأمم المتحدة بين طلاب المدارس؟

I think that it is a good way to teach the student the mission of the UN and some other unusual ideas will be effective as well such as music ,movies and football matches
Zeyad from Egypt writes:
Spiderman is a great character but the worst thing is that some children like to act like this character. They would like to fly and climb walls. I worry about my son when he watches Spiderman movies.
