Welcome to BBC Xtra English. Today Doug and Khalid test your English with the Pick a number quiz.

Today's contestants are Ali from Jordan and Hassan from Egypt.

Ali says he practises his English by speaking to his family; some of them live in the USA.

Hassan is a pharmacy student. He tells Doug he wanted to learn English because it's an international language.
