Vital repairs have been completed on a north Cornwall breakwater.
The £250,000 work was done to extend the life of the 81-year-old eastern breakwater at Port Isaac, a leading South West shell fishing port.
The breakwater protects fishing boats in the exposed Port Isaac harbour and reduces the risk of flooding in the lower part of the village.
Harbour Commissioner chair Dugald Sproull said the work ensured the viability of port's fishing fleet.
The project was funded by Objective One, DEFRA, Cornwall County Council, North Cornwall District Council, St Endellion Parish Council and Port Isaac Harbour Commissioners.
