Man is remanded on murder charge

A 45-year-old man has been remanded in custody by magistrates in Bedfordshire charged with murder.

Oral Seaton was arrested at an address in Woolhampton, Reading, Berkshire, after a man was found stabbed to death in a flat in Luton.

The body of Winston Dowe-Stephenson, 50, was found in High Town on Thursday.

A post-mortem examination showed he had died from multiple stab wounds. Mr Seaton is due to appear before Luton Crown Court on Tuesday 14 October.
