Family tributes to crash victim
The family of a female motorist killed in a crash in south Cumbria have paid tribute to a woman "loved by everyone".

Amy Hocking was driving a Volkswagen Golf which was in a collision with a lorry on the A595 near Buckhorn Lane at Kirkby-in-Furness.

The 26-year-old, who had recently moved to a new home in Askham-in-Furness, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Cumbria Police renewed an appeal for witnesses to Monday morning's crash to contact them.

A family statement said: "Amy had loved living in the Lake District.

"She cycled, walked the fells and had a close group of friends. She was loved by everyone."

Ms Hocking, who worked as a chef, was born in Aberdeen, and had also lived in Devon.
