Holidaymaker vanishes in Turkey

Bradley Evans failed to return from holiday in Turkey
A Hertfordshire man is missing after failing to return from a holiday in Turkey raising fears for his welfare.

Bradley Evans, 36, who lives with his mother in Kings Langley, was last seen in a hotel bar in Marmaris on 6 August.

The car repair worker was due to return home that evening but did not catch his flight to Gatwick, Herts police said.

His room still contains his belongings including a return ticket and passport. His family has appealed for information through the police missing person unit.

Mr Evans was staying at the Club Viva Hotel in Marmaris, and had flown to Turkey from Gatwick on 23 July for two weeks.

He is described as white, about 5ft 7in tall, of medium build with receding mousey brown hair, blue eyes and several tattoos including a tribal band on the top of his right arm and five dots on his left lower arm.

His father Leslie Evans who contacted Hertfordshire Police said he was an experienced traveller who had toured the world over the last 15 years.

"He works very hard as a panel beater and paint sprayer and enjoys his holidays. This was his first visit to Marmaris but he has never gone missing before."

Kim Pearce, from Hertfordshire Police missing persons investigation unit, said: "We are appealing to anyone who recognises the description of Bradley and who may have stayed at the same hotel as him to come forward with any information which may help us."
