Villagers get joint sports centre
Two neighbouring villages are celebrating after winning funding for a shared sports and community centre.

Great and Little Tew in Oxfordshire are just a mile (1.6km) apart and the new pavilion will be built on the cricket field that separates the two.

The villages already share a cricket club, which runs eight teams, although they have a population of just 400.

Residents hope to raise £40,000 towards the £345,000 Tew Centre, also partly funded by West Oxfordshire Council.
