Man dies three days after crash

A 46-year-old man has died three days after he was involved in a car crash on an Essex road.

Andrew Coe, 46, was driving on the A13 Kiln Road at Benfleet on Tuesday when the car crashed into a garden.

Mr Coe was flown to the Medway Hospital in a critical condition, but he later died on Friday.

Mr Coe, an electrical engineer known to his friends as Andy, lived alone in Saxonville in Benfleet. Police have appealed for witnesses.
